Mary McGlynn, President & Co-Owner

Mary McGlynn is co-owner and President of PowerSpeaking, Inc. A lead trainer and gifted presentations coach, she has over 30 years of experience coaching the individual contributor all the way up to the board room executive. Mary has been instrumental in the creation and development of PowerSpeaking®‚ HighTechSpeaking®‚ FastTrackSpeaking®, SalesSpeaking®, and our newest DVD product, Speaking to the Big Dogs®. Mary touches the life of every part of the organization—from training, to coaching, to curriculum development, to operations, to sales, to management, to a personal liaison with clients, to a spirit behind the values-driven company. She is part of the heart-center of PowerSpeaking, Inc.

Appointed by Board of Supervisor President (now Congresswoman) Anna Eshoo to serve on the Commission on the Status of Women, Mary was elected to both vice president and presidential offices during her eight-year tenure. As an advocate for women and children and chair for "The Changing Family," she became a spokesperson for legislative action, appearing many times before the County Board of Supervisors. As a speech coach to the winners of the Women's Hall of Fame, she helped prepare 10 women each year for their talks to 700.

Mary holds a Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on learning theory and curriculum development.
