Chris Brannen
Chris Brannen brings her cross-cultural experience and communications skills to her training and executive coaching role at PowerSpeaking, Inc. She is a sought-after executive coach for multinational organizations world-wide and has conducted over 2,500 trainings throughout the Americas, Australia, continental Europe, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim and the United Kingdom.
Chris is certified in and facilitates more than 13 different communication, leadership and management skills courses and tools. Educated in Japan and in the United States, she has an MA from the University of California at Berkeley and taught at Stanford and the University of California at Berkeley for 7 years. Her intercultural background, in brief, includes: Japan during the formative years, Japan and US for undergraduate and graduate degrees, family in Riga, Latvia, and throughout Europe. Chris’ publications include: Going to Japan on Business: Protocol, Strategies, and Language for the Corporate Traveller, Stonebridge Press; Doing Business with Japanese Men: A Women’s Handbook, Stonebridge Press; The Global Mobile Manager: An Online Tool for Global Effectiveness and Managing Globally.
