Rachel Rodríguez

As a lead trainer and coach for all of PowerSpeaking, Inc.'s courses, PowerSpeaking®, HighTechSpeaking®, SpeakingUp®, FastTrackSpeaking® and SalesSpeaking®, and a lead trainer for PowerSpeaking® and HighTechSpeaking® , Rachel uses a behavioral approach to help people build on their existing strengths to become more successful speakers. 

Rachel has been a consultant with PowerSpeaking, Inc. since 2000.  Her business communication experience spans 20 years as a corporate trainer, instructor, coach, facilitator, and speaker. Her graduate work was in Organization Development and she has trained in Stanford University's Graduate School of Business Interpersonal Dynamics Facilitator Training. In addition to a strong emphasis on business communications and presentations, she has significant experience in mediation and helping leaders manage difficult conversations. Testing those mediation skills, Rachel is a facilitator of Non-Violent Communication at San Quentin Prison.


Rachel is a native Spanish speaker and spent three years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she specialized in speech coaching for executives at multinational companies and small businesses alike. She does keynote presentations on "Understanding and Tapping the Hispanic Market Potential." She has been published in the Los Angeles Times and featured on Northern California National Public Radio. Her two books are in their 8th printing (Henry Holt, NY). They have been translated to Chinese, Japanese, and Korean for Asia, and sell in the United Kingdom.

She is a member of the American Society for Training and Development and Bay Area OD Network.
