Lisa Rothman

As the executive producer of a drive-time radio program for seven years, Lisa Rothman has extensive experience preparing people for high stakes presentations.  She takes great satisfaction in helping workshop participants engage the audience and make their points clearly and concisely.   Lisa won awards reporting news stories involving highly technical issues so she knows how to help scientists and engineers explain complicated topics to a mixed audience.  In addition, she draws on her own experience making presentations to the radio station’s management, board and community leaders when she prepares participants for presentations to their senior leadership.

Lisa is a skilled coach and lead for all of PowerSpeaking, Inc.'s courses, PowerSpeaking®, HighTechSpeaking®, SpeakingUp®, FastTrackSpeaking® andSalesSpeaking®.

In addition to the work she does at PowerSpeaking, Inc., Lisa enables people be as persuasive as possible through her consulting business.  Her website is www.lisarothman.com.  Media coaching is one of the services she offers.  She has prepared clients for interviews on CNN, Fox, MSNBC, and CNBC and for interviews with the New York Times and the Washington Post.  Lisa also helps clientss write compelling resumes and cover letters as well as prepare for job interviews.  She has developed audio and video training materials for Xerox, Kaiser, McGraw Hill, Patelco Credit Union, Airwalk and the Sierra Club.

Lisa's work has garnered awards from the California Teacher's Association, the National Federation of Community Broadcasters and the National Educational Media Network.
