Melissa Schwartz, VP of Training

Melissa's passion for public speaking began during her undergraduate studies in Organizational Communication, when she took third in the nation while competing on her university's speech and debate team. That love and interest has continued throughout her 17 year communications career.

Melissa has a Masters Degree in Organizational and Professional Communication Development and taught public speaking while earning that degree.  After spending four years at National Semiconductor as a Human Resources Business Partner / Site Communicator, she has worked with PowerSpeaking, Inc. for over ten years --ironically, her former intern placement during her undergraduate program.  Melissa is a lead trainer and coach for all programs--PowerSpeaking®, HighTechSpeaking®, FastTrackSpeaking®, SalesSpeaking®,  and Speaking Up®.  She is known for her keynote expertise for Speaking Up® and is a sought-after executive coach*.  Melissa has been the Vice President of Training at PowerSpeaking, Inc. since 2006 and is responsible for recruitment, trainer certifications and the development and tailoring of course content and materials.   She plays a key role in the PowerSpeaking, Inc. Management Team.
