Hi, Rick,
I loved it. Where did you find those people?? You couldn't have done better finding such articulate, sincere, smart folks. Their advice is right on the money and pulls no punches. I wish I'd seen Speaking to the Big Dogs years and years ago when I was still at HP and found myself speaking to all the HP Exec VPs and half the board. It's a great piece of work and you all should be so proud of it.

Start up gets funding using tips from the Big Dogs:
We carefully adhered to the principles we took away from your video in our 45 minute VC pitch for our Series 2 funding effort. The end result was that we received two term sheets, and ultimately raised $4.5M from two new investors and our three previous investors.

Hello Rick,
The talk went well, thanks in no small part to your DVD. I must confess my presentation skills weren't the most polished, but it was uncanny to see the situations described in the DVD unfold. For example, the CEO was almost half an hour late, but I was prepared for this and was able to cover the most important points in the time we had left. The execs were quick to hijack the talk with their own agenda, but I was able to gently bring things back on track. The best part was at the very end when the biggest dog turned to the second in command and said, "This guy is right. We need to take action on this." I knew then that I'd gotten the outcome that I wanted.
Thanks,
A Silicon Valley Software Engineer

"Speaking to the Big Dogs: A Boardroom Survival Kit" is an extremely well-produced DVD, and is certainly worth its weight in gold for those working in the corporate world. An added benefit is that the tips, tricks and techniques can be used in everyday situations.
We'll give Speaking to the Big Dogs an A.

This DVD is fantastic! I hung on every word. Speaking to the Big Dogs provides a superb overview of the principles of preparing for, organizing, and delivering a presentation to senior decision makers.

Many training videos have actors playing managers/execs and reading scripts. About the best you will get is an introductory "blessing" by a single executive who is usually reading a script. Speaking to the Big Dogs has an unrehearsed, direct feel about it.
I don't believe I've ever seen that in an instructional video.
A terrific piece of work. I am proud to be associated with the project.
