Katherine Abbott

Besides being a master trainer for PowerSpeaking^® and  HighTechSpeaking^® Katherine Abbott is the founder of Abbott Communications, a "train-the-trainer" company.

Subject matter experts are faced with the daunting task of training in their area of expertise without having the appropriate training skills. Katherine's core courses, The Trainer's Advantage™ and The Tech Trainer's Advantage™, give them these skills. Katherine and her master trainers deliver these programs to corporations across the US as well as Europe and Africa.

Katherine has won industry awards for training and public speaking during a 25-year career in business and education. Before becoming a business owner, Katherine was Vice President of Training and Support at Mastermind Computers and National Training Manager for Businessland Computers. As a Businessland trainer, Katherine won attendance at several 100% Clubs and individual awards for running a Training Center with the highest revenue nationwide.

Before working in the business sector, Katherine was a faculty member of the University of Phoenix, University of Northern Colorado, and Weber State University.

Katherine holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree. She is a past President of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), past board member of the National Speakers Association of Northern California (NSA/NC), the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), Toastmasters International, and a current board member of the Bay Area Association of Psychological Type (BAAPT).
