Mary McGlynn

Mary McGlynn is co-owner and Chief Operating Officer of PowerSpeaking, Inc. A lead trainer and gifted presentations coach, she has over 30 years of experience coaching the individual contributor all the way to the boardroom executive. Mary has been instrumental in the creation and development of  PowerSpeaking^® ‚ HighTechSpeaking^®‚ FastTrackSpeaking^®,  and our newest DVD product, Speaking to the Big Dogs^®.

Appointed by Board of Supervisor President (now Congresswoman) Anna Eshoo to serve on the Commission on the Status of Women, Mary was elected to both vice president and presidential offices during her eight years of tenure. As an advocate for women and children and chair for "The Changing Family," she became a spokesperson for legislative action, appearing many times before the County Board of Supervisors. As speech coach to the winners of the Women's Hall of Fame, she helped prepare 10 women each year for their talks to 700.

Mary has a Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis on learning theory and curriculum development.
