Melissa's
passion for public speaking began during her undergraduate
studies in Organizational Communication, when she took third
in the nation while competing on her university's speech and
debate team. That love and interest has continued throughout
her 14 year communications career.
Melissa earned a Masters Degree in Organizational and
Professional Communication Development. After spending four
years at National Semiconductor as a Human Resources
Business Partner/Site Communicator, she has worked for the
past seven years for PowerSpeaking, Inc.—ironically, her
former intern placement during her undergraduate program.
Melissa is a lead trainer and coach for all programs—PowerSpeaking®,
HighTechSpeaking®, FastTrackSpeaking®
and Speaking to the Big Dogs®. She is known
for her keynote expertise for Speaking to the Big Dogs
and and is a sought-after executive coach.
Most recently Melissa has taken the position of Vice
President of Training at PowerSpeaking, Inc. and
is responsible for recruitment, training new trainers and
the development and tailoring of course materials. She
plays a key role in the PowerSpeaking, Inc. management
team.
