The Speaker's Diet

The success of your next presentation could be determined...not by what you say...not by your delivery style...not by your visual aids...but by your diet!

To increase your energy on the platform, try this diet tip. Before your talk, avoid fats and sweets, i.e., the big heavy cheese omelette or the cream-filled Danish. Fats are hard to digest and use more of your energy in the process. Instead, about two hours before your presentation have a light meal consisting of protein and carbohydrates. Then about fifteen minutes before you go on, eat a piece of fruit. This diet will prime your system for maximum energy and focus during your presentation. Knock 'em dead.
