■ Analyze the homework requirements including personalities, expectations, sponsorship, and recommended strategies in advance of the meeting

■ Construct a clear, focused bottom line as the foundation of the interactive presentation

■ Construct a well-organized, systematic, interactive presentation with a distinct opening, body, and closing

■ Demonstrate improvisation and active listening skills during the interactive presentation

■ Incorporate effective strategies for handling interruptions and distractions

The one-day Speaking Up workshop has two videotaping sessions, two coaching sessions, activities and exercises, and multiple opportunities to practice.
